Ho records minor accidents during Christmas

Ho, Dec 29, GNA- Five minor motor accidents were recorded in and around Ho during the Christmas holidays, Mr Agrippa Apatu, Commander of Volta Regional Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) of the Ghana Police Service told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Monday.

He said except for a six-year old boy, Master Morkporkpor Agbeve, now on admission at the Volta Regional Hospital, all other victims of the accidents were treated and discharged.

Mr Apatu said Master Agbeve was knocked down by a taxicab on Saturday December 27, at the main entrance to the main lorry station near the central market.

Mr Nicholas Blewushie, Ho District Police Commander, said the Yuletide was largely crime free.

He said there were few assaults and three stealing cases and nothing more, he said.
