Ho, June 27, GNA – Soccer fans in the Ho Municipality on Saturday night kept wake celebrating Black Stars’ 2-1 victory against the US in the on-going 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

A 60-year old woman told GNA that she could not watch the match because of tension but she could however not miss out in the celebrations. The normally fluid traffic in the municipality at night was jammed for the greater part of the night, drinking bars were crowded amidst the blowing of Vuvuzelas.
A European visitor to Ho who gave her name only as Raffaela, in the company of other Europeans who were also jubilating on the street, said she was happy that the Black Stars won the game.
