Herbert Mensah Spreading Malicious Fabrications – GAME

The Campaign Team of President John Evans Atta Mills, the Get Atta Mills Endorsed (GAME), has dismissed as false and preposterous a statement by Herbert Mensah of the Konadu campaign team, claiming that an amount of GH¢90million is to be spent on President Mills’ re-nomination campaign.

A statement signed by the Spokesperson for GAME, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, described Herbert Mensah as an individual who has a penchant for fabricating stories with all the associated melodrama. GAME reminded all NDC faithful that Herbert Mensah had openly stated that he is not a member of the NDC and has nothing to lose if the party loses the 2012 elections.

“It is regrettable that such a person should be allowed to cause disunity and rancor in the NDC party,” she noted.

According to GAME, the Mills campaign would continue to focus on giving the party’s delegates to the July congress cogent reasons why they must endorse Professor John Evans Atta Mills as the NDC’s candidate for 2012.

“These reasons include Mills’ leadership style, his trustworthiness, his integrity, his modesty and his unifying personality. Also, President Mills is delivering massively on his 2008 campaign promises. He is committed to the development of Ghana, he abhors corruption and has fellow-feeling,” said GAME.

The statement challenged Mr. Herbert Mensah to produce the tapes, which he claims contain evidence of his malicious fabrications.

The GAME Team noted that if they had the ability to raise a fraction of the reported amount for their campaign they would use it to support the President’s ongoing efforts to, among others, eliminate schools under trees and construct additional health facilities in the rural areas.
