Health Personnel urged not to leave country

Mr Samuel Alberto Tekyi, Wassa Amenfi District Chief Executive, has told health personnel that the government was making every effort to improve their conditions of service.

He gave the assurance at a get-together the District Health Service organised for five workers who were going on transfer.

Mr Tekyi appealed to health personnel, who intended to leave the country for greener pastures, to rescind their decision.

”The district assembly would institute awards for workers of the District Health Service and would also support programmes initiated by the Service to eradicate diseases.”

Mr Tekyi commended health personnel for working tirelessly to implement programmes such as the national immunisation exercises.

Mr Emmanuel Kwesi Tamakloe, the District Director of Health Services, urged personnel of the Service to study the Service Code Of Ethics And The Rights Of Patients.
