Headmaster appeals for completion of classroom block

Authorities of the Annor Adjaye Senior High School at Ezinlibo have appealed to the government to ensure the completion of the 12 classrooms under construction in the school.

The GETFund project, started in 2010 and supposed to be completed in 12 months, is 75% complete.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr S. C.W Annor, told the GNA that work on the project had slowed down due to financial difficulties being faced by the contractor.

Mr Annor said, due to accommodation problems facing the school, the authorities have been compelled to convert a dining hall and boys’ dormitory to classrooms.

He said if the project is not completed before May, it would be difficult for the school to admit new students.

Mr James Ninnah, Site Foreman of KWASS Construction Limited, engaged on Project, said the project would be completed by the end of this month if documentation on payment is approved by the AESC.**
