Head of Ebenezer Worship Centre calls for unity among Ghanaians

Accra, Jan. 9, GNA-The Reverend Dr Opambuo Ebenezer Adarkwa-Yiadom, General Overseer of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, has urged Ghanaians to unite and rally behind the Atta Mills government to accelerate the development of the nation.

He said as the elections were over, now was the time to do away with divisions and partisanship in the interest of unity, to push the development agenda of the nation forward. The Rev. Adarkwa-Yiadom was delivering the sermon at a day’s revival of the church, in Accra on Thursday.

He urged Christians to always go on their knees and pray to God to achieve their avowed aims.

The Rev. Adarkwa-Yiadom thanked Ghanaians for comporting themselves in unity, before, during and after the elections and expressed the hope that the same level of patriotism would be exhibited in future elections.

Rev. Richard Newsman Aboah, Resident Pastor of the Church added his voice to the call for the change of election date from December 7 to November 7 to create more time for the transition of power. 09 Jan. 09
