Head of Brahma University advocates world peace

Accra, Sept. 24, GNA- Dadi Janki, Co-administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, at the weekend urged Ghanaians to free themselves from violence and other anti-social attributes and rather embrace the cardinal virtues of peace and love. Janki said violence had created fear and conflicts leading to the loss of countless human lives globally.

Addressing a press conference in Accra, on the theme: “Values And Health For A Better Ghana”, the visiting spiritual head said, “Human beings are thirsty of love and hungry for peace”.

“There can be peace when the pieces of harmony has been combined,” adding that to make this possible, humanity must eschew negative thinking, which had deprived the world of peace.

Dadi Janki expressed the need for mankind to promote peace and happiness, which was necessary in the life of everyone. She said the mind that was connected with the heart only works well when there is honesty and love within the body.

Dadi Janki said positive power destroyed all negative activities and promotes love and happiness.

She said everybody should spread the message of peace. The Brahma University is a non-governmental secular organisation affiliated to the United Nations (UN). It is a Peace Messenger Organisation by the UN.
