Hanna Tetteh trounces incumbent in Awutu Senya West primaries

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Madam Hanna Tetteh, has won the ticket to represent the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya West ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections in December.

Madam Hanna Tetteh beat the incumbent MP David Nana Larbi by 271 to 41 votes.

Speaking to Radio XYZ, elated Hanna Tetteh said her agenda would be to articulate the NDC’s legislative agenda if she wins the seat.

The Trade Minister, who is considered as a bright spot in the government and a brilliant business lawyer, was the former MP of the area before stepping down in 2004.
