Takoradi Dec. 29, – GNA- Members of the Ghana Timber Association (GTA) have sent a congratulatory message to President J. A. Kufuor and his Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama on their re-election.
In their congratulatory message signed by the President of GTA, Mr. Joseph Armah and released to the press, the members maintained that their re-election was a clear indication of the confidence Ghanaians have in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
The message assured President Kufuor of members unflinching support and cooperation to ensure another successful administration. The GTA members hoped President Kufuor’s re-election would enable him to complete the good works he has started to ensure that the country’s economy is placed on sound footing for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
They strongly hoped that during his second term in office, President Kufuor would give serious attention to the timber Industry and also help to improve the plight of indigenous Ghanaian timber producers.
