All the five persons who filed their nominations to contest for the various positions in the Greater Accra Regional Branch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) were declared unopposed. Mr Mawusi Afele, GJA Electoral Officer, said at the close of nominations, only Mr Ransford Tetteh of the Daily Graphic had filed for Chairman, Mr Gyamfi Boaten Weekly Spectator, Vice-Chairman; Gayheart Edem Mensah Graphic, Secretary. The rest are Mr Gideon Asare Sackitey Ghana News Agency, Assistant Secretary and Ms Patience Ama Azaglo also of the Ghana News Agency, Treasurer.
