Group defends road minister

The Gbungbung Youth Association, which is aligned to the Tamale Central Constituency of the National Democratic Congress, has said that its Member of Parliament, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, welcomes any challenge to his parliamentary bid in 2016.

A press statement issued by the Gbungbung Youth Association signed by its Chairman, Mr Sulemana Kamil and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Saturday said “Alhaji Fuseini is popular in Tamale and is ready for any contest as it is in line with democratic tenets.”

The statement called on all those engaged in acts that tended to malign the image of Alhaji Fuseini, who is also the Minister for Roads and Highways, to desist from such acts as they would not prevent him (Alhaji Fuseini) from retaining the seat in the 2016 elections.

It extolled the virtues of Alhaji Fuseini saying, “His humility and maturity make him stand tall in Dagbon.”
