Govt warned on tarfiff increases

Participants at the just ended 54th annual New Year School have asked the government not to increase utility tariffs and other taxes without corresponding increase in salaries and wages. They noted that if the tariff increases did not correspond with wages and salary increases, they would become a potential recipe for labour unrest in the country.
