Govt urged to rehabilitate Tepa-Bomaa-Tanoso road

Accra, Feb.01, GNA – Mr Johnson Gyau, a Retired Public Servant has appealed to the Government to complete rehabilitation of the 25 kilometre Tepa-Bomaa-Tanoso road in the Tano North District which was abandoned three years ago before the rainy season. Making the appeal through the Ghana News Agency in Accra, Mr Gyau said the road was a major route for the haulage of cocoa and foodstuffs to marketing centres.

He said vehicles and taxis had refused to ply the road because of its deplorable nature and market women had to carry head loads of foodstuffs over long distances to board vehicles.
