Government to improve on power supply at Aboadze

Mr. Enoch Kojo Appiah, Shama District Chief Executive (DCE), has assured residents of Aboadze that plans are underway to link the town and the rest of the district to electricity service line to forestall the regular power outages.

Mr. Appiah said he is liaising with the authorities to fast track the project.

The DCE who was responding to the agitation of the people told the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Aboadze that, it is unfortunate that the town is hosting Aboadze Thermal Plant and lacks electricity.

“Government is working around the clock to salvage the situation, “he said.
