Gomoa West MP tours constituency

Gomoa Assin-Brofoyedur (C/R), Sept 27, GNA – The Member of Parliament for Gomoa West, Mr Francis Kojo Arthur, is using the recess of parliament to join his constituents to celebrate their Akwanbo and Ahobea festivals.

He has also been organising forums at which he explained to them government policies and programmes as well as some important issues from parliament.

Addressing a durbar of chiefs and people of Gomoa Assin-Brofoyedur to mark their Akwanbo festival, Mr Arthur said there plans to build a dam on River Ochie between Gomoa Maim and Essarkyir to provide potable water to communities.

Mr Arthur said roads in the town would be improved. Addressing a forum at Fomena, Mr Arthur appealed to Ghanaians to exercise patience for the government and that it is implementing programmes to fulfil its “Better Ghana” agenda.
