GNFS rescues two accident victims at Konongo-Odumase

Personnel from the Konongo-Odumase in the Ashanti region on the dawn of Saturday, July 5, 2025, responded to a distress call on an accident at the Three Lane stretch in Asante Akim Central.

The accident involved a Nigeria-bound Man Diesel trailer with registration number JBD 704ZY and another trailer registration number GS 7884-18, leaving two persons trapped.

LFM Siale led the GNFS rescue crew who quickly applied door removal, pedal removal, and dashboard roll techniques to safely extricate the victims who were transported to the hospital.

While the GS 7884-18 trailer suffered complete frontal damage, the JBD 704ZY trailer sustained partial rear damage.

Investigation has commenced to determine the cause of the crash.
