GNEMHO denies authorizing printing of receipt books

Koforidua, Aug 08, GNA – The National Executive Board of Network for Mutual Health Organisation of Ghana(GNEMHO) has informed District Health Insurance schemes that it has not authorized any individual or group of people to print receipt books and other stationery for any scheme for payment.

GNEMHO said the schemes were not under any obligation to buy those receipt books and stationery printed by those individuals or groups of people.

This was contained in a letter from the National Executive Board of GNEMHO to the District Health Insurance Schemes. The letter said stationery that was being dumped on the schemes was not in any way related to the proposed subsidy or support from the National Health Insurance Fund.

GNEMHO advised the schemes to print their own receipt books or buy them from the Controller and Accountant General’s Department to ensure the security of the receipt books.
