GMA cautions drivers against use of cell phones

Accra, Dec. 23, GNA – The President of the Ghana Medical Association, Dr Francis Adu-Ababio on Friday cautioned drivers against using cell phones when on the road.

“I appeal to all mobile phone users not to receive or make calls when driving,” he said in his Christmas message. Dr Adu-Ababio reminded travellers: “Seat belts save precious lives so buckle up when on the road.

“During the Yuletide, do everything in moderation. Always remember that our dear country, Ghana needs you alive in 2006 and beyond,’ he said.
