GJA election ends

Kumasi, March 09, GNA – Mr Ransford Tetteh polled nine votes as against seven by Miss Sarah Akrofi-Quarcoo in the race for the President of the Ghana Journalists Association’s (GJA) elections which ended in the Ashanti region on Thursday.

In the Vice-presidential polls, Mrs Charity Binka had nine votes as against eight by Mr Affail Monney.

Miss Yaa Oforiwaa Acquah polled 14 votes to retain her post as treasurer as against four votes for Miss Esi Asante. Mr Dave Agbenu secured nine votes in the position for the organising secretary as against eight votes by Mr Alfred Ogbamey.
