A 22- year- old lady, Linda Akuka, has been shot dead by her estranged boyfriend at Sefwi Kwame-Tawiakrom in the Western Region.
According to a reporter from Takoradi based Winners’ FM, Ras Gambo, the suspect, Asumah, who is now at large, shot Akua on Thursday morning after the latter decided to end their relationship.
“Linda told Asumah that she did not want to continue with the relationship because her parents had stopped supporting her education due to their disapproval of their relationship,” the reporter told Atinka FM
According to further reports, Linda was shot dead in front her house on Thursday morning.
The Tawiah Krom Police Commander, A.S.P Daniel Wiafe, has confirmed the incident and said the body of the deceased had been conveyed to the Esam Government Hospital mortuary .
The police has also mounted a search for the suspect, who is widely known in the area as Asumah.
