Ghanaians urged to live healthy lifestyles

Bishop Emmanuel Dankyi-Anane, the General Overseer of the Calvary Crystal Church International, has advised Ghanaians to adopt healthy lifestyles.

Bishop Dankyi-Anane said this during a health walk by the church to create awareness on the need to live a healthy life.

The walk started at the Kwashieman Junction through Odorkor to Mallam Junction and back to Kwashieman.

It was on the theme: “Promoting Health and Evangelism” and seeks to encourage members of the church as well as the general public on healthy lifestyle and share the love of Jesus Christ to many that did not know Him.

The General Overseer also urged Christians to exercise regularly adding that “regular exercising plays a major role in boosting your health”.

Bishop Dankyi-Anane said Christians had always emphasised on their spiritual health alone and that “it was about time we woke up to the reality of healthy living”.

“While we live increasingly busy lives, there is the need for everyone, both young and old, to deliberately commit to an exercise and fitness regime combined with healthy eating to ensure a better and quality life,” he said.
