Ghanaians asked to sacrifice for national development

Tema, Jan. 20, GNA – Maulvi Aziz Ur-Rahman, Greater Accra Regional Missionary of the Ahamadiyya Muslim Mission, on Thursday called on Ghanaians, especially Muslims to be prepared to sacrifice their money and other resources for national development. Preaching a sermon at the premises of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission at Tema, where hundreds of Muslims gathered to pray to commemorate Eid-Ul Adha , Mulvi Rahman said the festival which marks the sacrifice of the patriarch, Abraham means, “we should be ready to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of God”.

“Whenever we sacrifice for the sake of God, we shall never perish but shall live a prosperous life.”

Maulvi Rahman advised Muslims to pledge to be honest and truthful at this period of Eid-Ul Adha, so that “we can serve our nation better and develop it more than we came to meet it”.
