Ghanaians advised to be dedicated to the worship of God

Kumasi, Feb 9, GNA – Reverend John Kwabena Boachie, superintendent Minister in-charge of the Old Tafo Gospel Centre Assemblies of God church, has advised Ghanaians to be dedicated and committed to the worship of God.

He said it was through constant prayers and fasting that God would answer all their supplications and problems. Rev Boachie was preaching at the opening of a five-day prayer and fasting meeting of the church at Old Tafo in the Kumasi metropolis on Thursday.

The theme for the programme was, “Have Faith in God”. He said the development and prosperity of the country depended on God and appealed to Christians to pray unceasingly to God to give the country the vision to move forward.

Rev Boachie expressed concern about increasing immorality in the country, especially among the youth, and urged churches to intensify their evangelism programmes to win more souls for Christ. He stressed the need for them to lead exemplary lives worthy of emulation as society looked up to them as agents of change. Special prayers were offered for the government to ensure growth, stability and development of the country.
