Ghanaian Voice

The Voice in a front page lead story headlined: ” Musicians ripped off…Nana Ampadu on the run?”, says Nana Kwame Ampadu I, an acclaimed folkloric musician, has not been seen in the country since a probe was instituted into visa racketeering among Ghanaian musicians.

The paper quotes sources as saying nana Ampadu has been in the United States for more than a month now, and the “against” are peddling rumours that he may become a victim of the probe.

The Voice says the source indicated that one Pii Akyere, who accompanied Nana Ampadu on the trip to the United States, made a brief reconnaissance at the probe grounds and has since not been seen.

According to the paper, it is the belief of the “against” that when Nana Ampadu returns, he would confront the issue and set the records straight. GRi
