Ghana is to have launch its official web site by July 1998. Speaking to the media in Accra, the deputy Minister of Communication, Commander P.M.G. Griffiths in charge of information technology at the Ministry, coinfirmed that the delay has been caused by the collation of information from all the various ministries.
In Ghana most businesses and organisations are hooked onto the net including JOY FM whose site is said to be accessed by over three thousand Internet users worldwide every week.
On the other hand the web site for Ghana Review International receives no less than 100,000 hits per week.
