Ghana Scout Association cautions public

Accra, Jan. 17, GNA – The National Executive Committee of the Ghana Scouts Association (GSA) has cautioned the general public against the activities of a group which calls itself 93Concerned Scouts”. A statement signed by Mr Isaac Newton Addy, Chief Commissioner and Chairman of the National Executive Committee (NEC) on Wednesday, said the group was not part of the administration of the Association or recognized by the National Executive Council and, therefore, should not be given audience by any organization.

It said the group was moving from one office to the other making false and baseless allegations about the administration and against certain individuals of the Association.

The statement explained that the Ghana Scouts Association was run by a properly constituted administrative body, which acted on behalf of its members both locally and internationally and had structures in place to solve its internal problems.
