Ghana military leaders to visit N.D.

BISMARCK – Leaders of Ghana’s armed forces are coming to North Dakota (USA) to visit with their counterparts in the state’s National Guard.

The weeklong visit starting Monday is part of the Guard’s participation in the State Partnership Program, which pairs Guard units around the country with military and civilian governments in developing countries.

The delegation from Ghana will travel to Bismarck, Jamestown, Devils Lake, Grand Forks, Fargo and Dickinson, visiting Guard facilities and cultural sites.

In March, North Dakota National Guard members went to Ghana for a week.
