Ghana Battalion Moslems Celebrate Eid In Lebanon

The Chief Imam of the Ghanaian Troops on Peacekeeping Operations in South Lebanon, Lt Quaye, has led Moslems in the Battalion to pray for the Battalion (UNIFIL GHANBATT 65), The Ghana Armed Forces and Ghana for a peaceful and prosperous new year. The Moslem troops converged at the Battalion Headquarters to celebrate the Eidul Adha Festival.

The Imam asked all Ghanaian Troops to continue to pray for a lasting peace in Lebanon and especially, world peace.The Commanding Officer of UNIFIL GHANBATT 65, Lt Col EW Kotia joined his Moslem troops after the prayers and wished them happy Eid.
