Mr Ablakwa also highlighted plans to expand scholarship opportunities and partnerships in information technology between Ghana and India.
The minister said he was looking forward to welcoming Dr. Jaishankar, whose visit is taking place at his invitation.
In a post on his X page, Mr Ablakwa referred to his recent bilateral meeting and panel discussions with Dr. Jaishankar on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
He said the talks had reinforced the longstanding ties between the two countries.
“Ghana and India value our inseparable bond of solidarity and shared values,” Mr Ablakwa wrote.
“I look forward to hosting His Excellency Dr. S. Jaishankar in Ghana later this week on his historic visit to Ghana at my invitation.”
Mr Ablakwa added: “We are poised to advance our relations in pharmaceutical development within the framework of President Mahama’s Accra Reset philosophy; deepening agricultural cooperation in mechanization and value addition; support for President Mahama’s industrialization and job creation agenda; expanding scholarships and IT partnerships.”
