GES on BECE

The Ghana Education Serice says it is illegal for private schools to collect monies from pupils before releasing their BECE results to them. the release of hteresuls attracts no fee except perhaps a pupil has some monetary obligatons to fulful with his or her school. The Director-General of the GES, Mr. S.A. Obeng, was speaking to GBC following complaints that some private schoos in Greater Accra are collecting monies from BECE sitters before releasing their results to them.
