German Presby Church gives to Dormaa Hospital

Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A), April 29, GNA – The Presbyterian Church of Stuttgart in Germany has donated 2,000 Deutsche Marks to the Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital at Dormaa-Ahenkro.

Dr. Kwame Amoah-Kuma, Brong Ahafo Presbytery Chairman of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana who made the presentation, said the Church attaches great importance to the Primary Health Care Unit of the hospital. He expressed the hope that the relations with the donors and their Ghanaian partners would be strengthened.

Mr. Seth Addai-Kyeremeh, Acting General Manager of the Hospital who received the amount, thanked the German church for the gesture and appealed to individuals and organisations to emulate it. He said the money would be used to support the expansion of the hospital’s theatre.

Nana Baffour Twum, Presiding Member of the Dormaa District Assembly, called for more assistance to the hospital to enable it to cater for the health needs of the people.
