General Mosquito? Narrowly Escapes Death

The National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament for Wenchi West, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, narrowly escaped death when a Mazda Saloon car ran into the vehicle they were driving at the Achimota tipper station in the early hours of Tuesday, March 16.

Hon. Asiedu Nketiah was travelling to his constituency to take part in the re-opening of the voter?s register which begun today.

The occupants in his car included his wife, his two daughters and two of his sisters, who were all going to have their names registered in the new voter?s register. Although no fatalities were recorded in the incident, the driver of the Mazda vehicle which ran into his car is said to be in critical condition.

Hon Asiedu Nketia?s car was sandwiched between the two cars, one hitting the driver side of his car and the other hitting the rear, rendering his vehicle badly damaged and almost beyond repairs.
