GDI and GDEu call for peace and harmony

….. amongst all Ghanaians and together build a better Ghana for generations to come

August 30, 2013 – Accra, Ghana – On behalf of all members of GaDangme International (GDI North America), GaDangme Europe (GDEu), and all GaDangme organizations worldwide, the leaders of GDI and GDEu call for peace and harmony amongst Ghanaians worldwide to come together and build a better Ghana fit for generations to come. The call follows the final declaration by the nine judges appointed to mitigate the issues surrounding the 2012 presidential elections in Ghana.

First and foremost, we thank the judges for their dedicated service to Ghana and its people in accomplishing the arduous task presented to them. The tack and zeal employed in reaching their final declaration must be applauded by all peace loving people who have waited patiently for this very moment. By this feat Ghana has demonstrated to the international community, that democracy is part and parcel of our Ghanaian landscape.

We call particularly on President John D. Mahama and his cabinet as well as the leader of the NPP, Nana Akuffo-Addo to abide and respect the final declaration by the nine judges.

We also call on all Ghanaians to respect and support the final declaration and commit themselves to the building of a better Ghana for all regardless of one’s political affiliation.

We pray for the continuous well-being, excellent health, personal happiness and comfort of all Ghanaians for generations to come.

Long live GDI, Long live GDEu, and Long live Ghana.
