‘Gay doctor’s’ trial : Judge orders prosecutors to produce victim in court

The judge sitting over the case involving the medical doctor accused of sodomising an underage boy has ordered the prosecutors in the case to produce the alleged victim in court.

Last month, the Cocoa Affairs Court ordered Dr. Sulley Ali Gabass’ remand to give the investigators more time to probe the case which involves alleged anal sex with a 16-year-old boy.

The beleaguered doctor, who is alleged to have had unnatural sex with the teenager on several occasions is standing trial for sodomy.

According to Starr News’ Wilberforce Asare, who was in court today, the Presiding Judge, Justice Agyeman- Budu expressed frustration over the inability of the prosecutors to produce the victim in court.

She is reported to have indicated the court is willing to move to the location of the victim for hearing if necessary.

The case has been adjourned to Wednesday November 26.

Dr Ali Gabass, who is a senior staff of the Effia Nkwanta Hospital in Takoradi in the Western region, is on suspension until the case is over.
