Ga West assures community of gov’t’s support

Mr Sam Atukwei Quaye, the Ga West Municipal Chief Executive has assured Ghanaians that the national cake towards the ‘Better Ghana Agenda’ as promise by President Mahama would trickle to every corner of development.

Mr Atukwei Quaye said this when he commissioned a kilometer road linking Pokuase to the ACP junction at the weekend which forms part of inspection tour of the municipality.

Mr Atukwei Quaye explained that the construction of the road would help to avoid traffic at the Accra-Nsawam road especially in the evening.

He said the Municipal Assembly is constructing another road from Pokuase to Dedeiman where community like Katapor Okyere Konfo would benefit from transporting food items to Amasaman and Ofankor market for sales.

Mr Atukwei Quaye said the Municipality would continue its sanitation programmes in the community and ensure that unauthorized structures were destroyed.

He explained that the exercise would help to prevent criminal and armed robbery activities, which has engulfed the vicinity.
