Fuel station suffers two robberies in two months

Armed men, within two months, twice attacked the Compass Olium fuel station at Kopeyia near Denu.

In November masked robbers stormed the station on motor bikes and took away GH¢ 198,000.00, 184000 CFA and five mobile phones but left behind one of their motor bikes on sensing the arrival of the police.

Last Monday masked men again attacked the station at about 1930 hours on motor bikes and took away an undisclosed amount being the sales for the day,

Mr. Augustine Luguyare, Aflao District Police Commander told the GNA the police would do everything within its means to tackle the robbers, who they suspected belong to the same gang.
