Free transport for GJA members to Ayim’s funeral

Accra, May 17, GNA – The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) on Wednesday announced that there would be free transport for members to attend the funeral of Mr Ferdinand Ayim at Kibi on Saturday, May 20. A statement signed by Mr. Dave Agbenu, Organising Secretary, said the bus was being provided by a sympathiser of Mr. Ayim, Special Assistant to the Minister of Tourism and Diasporan Affairs, who died in an accident last month.

The bus would leave the Ghana International Press Centre at 0600 hours prompt on Saturday and return on the same day. Boarding would be on first-come-first-served basis.

All interested members are to contact Mr. Agbenu at New Times Corporation or leave their names at the front desk of the Press Centre.
