Framer, 33, defiles his 12-year-old daughter

Koforidua, Oct 14, GNA-The Anyinam Police have arrested a 33- year-old farmer, Yaw Frimpong, for defiling his 12-year-old daughter at Anyinam last Sunday.

Chief Inspector Yaw Nketia-Yeboah, Eastern Regional Police Public Affairs Officer, said the victim was living with her mother at a separate place at Anyinam.

He said on Sunday, the mother sent the victim to the father to collect housekeeping money but he rather defiled her.

The girl later narrated her ordeal to her mother who in turn reported the case to the Anyinam Police who issued the victim with a police medical form to access medical care.

Chief Inspector Nketia-Yeboah said Frimpong was subsequently arrested on Wednesday and had since been detained to help the police in their investigations.
