Forget about the loss and thank God – Akomea tells NDC

Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], Nana Akomea has urged the National Democratic Congress [NDC] to give thanks to God despite their loss in the just-ended parliamentary and presidential elections.

He would want the NDC to replicate their (NPP’s) move to organise a National Thanksgiving service in appreciation of a peaceful election.

“They [NDC] must also thank God for giving them 8 years of governance. They have done tremendously well for Ghana” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) held an inter-denominational Christian praise and thanksgiving service at the Accra Sports Stadium today [Sunday], to thank God for the party’s resounding victory in the just-ended elections.

The service was under the theme: “We will rejoice in thy salvation and in the name of our God. We will set up our banners. The Lord fulfil all thy petitions, Psalm 20:5.”
