Foreign Affairs Minister in Burkina Faso

Accra, Nov. 4, GNA – The Minister of Foreign Affairs Nana Akufo-Addo on Tuesday left Accra for Burkina Faso upon the request of President John Agyekum Kufuor, who is also the ECOWAS Chairman, to hold discussions with President Blaise Campaore.

The talks are expected to centre on recent political developments in that country as well as the political situation in Cote D’ Ivoire. The minister was accompanied by Dr Mohammed Ibn Chambas, Executive Secretary of ECOWAS

He is expected to return on Wednesday.
