Foreign Affairs Minister attends Franco-African Summit

Accra, June 12, GNA- Nana Akufo-Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs, left Accra on Saturday to attend the 22nd Franco-African Summit that commences in Paris, France on June 14. A statement issued by the Ministry in Accra on Sunday said issues expected to dominate discussions at the two-day summit include peace and security, health and education, agriculture, commerce and environment.

The statement said Nana Akufo-Addo, would proceed to the United Kingdom to confer with the British Foreign Minister, Mr Jack Straw. It said both ministers are expected to discuss the proposed UN reforms as well as Africa’s common position on it.
