Farmer defiles 13 year old pupil

Tarkwa, Nov. 24, GNA – Isaac Teye, a 19 year old farmer, was on Thursday, given a seven year jail term in hard labour for defiling a 13 year old girl. He pleaded guilty.

Prosecuting, police Detective Chief Inspector Oscar Amponsah said the accused and the victim’s parents live at Kojo Bortey, a village near Bogoso. Inspector Amponsah said on November 11, at around 07:00, the complainant Stephen Amoah detected that the victim was bleeding from her vagina and when questioned, she narrated her ordeal with Teye.

According to Inspector Amponsah, the victim said around 20:00 hours the previous day, she went out to play with her friends when Teye, who was standing under a tree nearby, collected a balloon from her. The prosecutor said as the victim was preparing to go home, Teye called her back to come for the balloon, and managed to lure her to a secluded place and had sex with her. 24 Nov. 10
