A 39-year-old farm labourer whose name was given as Nda Ackah of Adusuazo has committed suicide by hanging.
He was found hanged in his bedroom, Superintendent of Police John Furguson Dzineku told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Half Assini on Wednesday.
He said the deceased who stayed alone went out on Friday evening and on his return went to bed about 2100 hours.
On Saturday morning when he had not been seen one Madam Esther Mensah, went to his door and found it locked from behind.
She knocked at the door several times without response, forced it open and saw the corpse hanging from a rope.
The police were called who took the body to the Half Assini Government Hospital.
