FAO Director-General to visit Ghana

Accra, March 17, GNA – Dr Jacques Diouf, Director-General Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) would pay a three-day visit to Ghana, beginning Thursday March 18.

While in the country, Dr Diouf would participate in the Summit of the Economic Community of West African State (ECOWAS) Heads of State and Government scheduled for Accra on Saturday.

The Director-General is expected to hold discussions with President John Agyekum Kufuor, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Major Courage Quashigah, Minister for Food and Agriculture.
