Fanteakwa NDC congratulates President

Begoro, Feb. 8, GNA – The Fanteakwa constituency executive of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has congratulated President John Evans Atta-Mills and his vice, Mr John Mahama on their election to the high office of the land. The acting constituency chairman of the party, Mr Henry Okantah, read the commendation at an executive meeting to discuss issues relating to the growth of the party in the area.

The executive expressed gratitude to God for ensuring a peaceful poll and appealed to President Mills not to succumb to the demands of any pressure group but should go by the manifesto of the party. The executive also congratulated Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the Parliamentary candidate for the area in last year’s election, on his nomination as the Eastern Regional Minster designate. The executive expressed optimism that with his experience as the former Deputy Minister of the region; he would deliver to the expectations of the people. 08 Feb. 09
