Fan Milk assists Agona Swedru flood victims and Schools

Agona Swedru, July 30, GNA – Fan Milk has donated 160 plastic dust bins and 5,000 products of the company to the Agona Swedru flood victims and 33 basic schools at Agona Swedru

The presentation on Wednesday formed part of activities marking World Environmental Day.

The company also donated 30 footballs to schools in the area.

Mr Akwasi Attuah, the Sales and Marketing Manager of the Fan Milk Ghana, said the company had given two deep freezers to the two agents of the company at Agona Swedru whose shops were washed away by floods to re-start their businesses.

Mrs Mercy Asante, the Central Regional Distributor of Fan Milk who is based at Agona Swedru, appealed to other companies operating in the region and Agona West Municipality to come to aid of the displaced persons.

She said the Assembly and the government alone cannot provide the victims with shelter, food and health care and appealed to others to assist them.

Mr Isaac Tettey, Agona West Municipal Planning Officer who received items on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive, thanked the company for the donation.
