A fake lawyer Anthony Ayenme has been arrested after he managed to practice at the court for over a year without being noticed.
Ayenme was arrested and jailed three years ago for impersonating a Police Officer, but he failed to depart from his deceptive ways upon his release, and returned to court pretending to be a lawyer.
Luck, however, run out for Ayenme on Tuesday after he was spotted by the prosecutor who prosecuted him three years ago.
After running background checks at the Judicial Secretariat, it was revealed that Ayenme was not a qualified lawyer and not fit to handle any case. He was arrested on Wednesday at the Circuit Court dressed as a lawyer and waiting for his case to be called.
According to information gathered by Starr News, Ayenme was scheduled to tie the knot on Saturday to his pregnant Police Officer girlfriend.
He is currently in Police grips waiting to be charged.
