Ex-NPP Scribe Now Trad. Chief

Abakoase-Atiwa — A former New Patriotic Party secretary for Atiwa constituency, Mr. Emmanuel Kwakye Appiah, has been enstooled as chief of Abakoase, a town near Anyinem.

Mr. Kwakye Appea, 45, was enstooled under the stool name Nana Akroman Acheampong II.

After the stool had remained vacant for three years, the lot fell on Nana Acheampong to ascend to the throne as chief of Abakoase.

At a durbar to climax activities of his enstoolment, Nana Acheampong pledged his support to lead the crusade of fighting for the development of Abakoase town.

He appealed to the government to provide the town with good drinking water, clinic, public places of convenience, as well as improve the bad road linking the town to Anyinem, the constituency capital.

Nana Akromah Acheampong is a French tutor at Osino Secondary School. Before his enstoolment and alongside his teaching, he practised politics for 13 years, with his last position as constituency secretary of Atiwa NPP.
