Nkoranza (B/A), Jan. 12, GNA – Mr. Peter Owusu-Baffoe, immediate past chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Nkoranza South has congratulated President John Atta Mills for a successful one year in office in spite the numerous challenges facing the nation. He said there was the need for all Ghanaians, specifically those in responsible positions, to rally behind the government to move the country forward.
Addressing journalists at Nkoranza, Mr. Owusu-Baffoe appealed to members and supporters of the party to remain united and to continue to support the government to initiate plans and programmes that would bring remarkable improvement in the living conditions of Ghanaians. He called on the leadership of the party to place the welfare of the people and the interest of the country above their personal interests and appealed to President Mills to remain focused and work hard to fulfil his campaign promises to enable the party to retain power in 2012. 12 Feb 10
