Evangelical Church of Ghana trains youth in career development

Winkogo (U/E), Sept 7, GNA – The Evangelical Church of Ghana has trained 170 youth in Bolgatanga in career development at four-day camp at Winkogo The youth were drawn from Bolgatanga, Winkogo, Dakiu and Sakote undertook the training at a four day camp organised by the Church at Winkogo, near Bolgatanga.

The Rev Samuel Apeligeb, the District Pastor of the Church, said the Church had a bigger responsibility in contributing to moulding the youth and nurturing in them values that were needed to guide them to contribute to national development. Pastor Robert Asankuriga, Principal of the Calvary West Africa Church International Bible School, speaking on the topic, ‘Youth in Career Development’, told the youth to be more assertive and creative. Mr Thomas Apana, an elder of the church, asked the youth to shun away from bad practices such as abuse of alcohol and pre-marital sex.
